Site analytics privacy

We use first-party analytics to understand which resources and marketing campaigns help people start a school fundraiser. Analytics stays in our application database; we do not send it to an advertising or analytics provider.

We record public page categories, form and checkout milestones, referring website domains, campaign labels, visit times, and successful starter-kit requests, new accounts, schools, and bookings. Query strings, sign-in tokens, email addresses, full referring URLs, and raw IP addresses are excluded from analytics. Funnel attribution uses internal resource, school, proposal, and booking references to distinguish completed steps and real payments from test activity. Form contents are not sent with analytics milestones.

Our private owner report can match a keyed signup reference to your account and show the recorded signup source alongside account contact details and school setup progress. This helps us understand acquisition and plan follow-up. These referrals remain subject to the same analytics retention and privacy choices. Verifying your account does not subscribe you to marketing emails; email updates have a separate subscription status.

A random first-party cookie groups activity into a visit. It expires after 30 minutes without a tracked public page view and works across our school addresses. We do not fingerprint your device or track you across other websites. Visits are approximate sessions, not unique people. Campaign attribution reflects the first tracked page in that session; a return on another browser or after expiry may not be attributed to the original campaign.

Analytics sessions and their events are removed after 90 days on the next tracked visit. Temporary abuse limits use keyed network hashes that expire after one minute. School account, payment, and resource-request records have their own purposes and are separate from this analytics history.
